"As students we often forget the importance of what we learn as it gets lost in books, papers, and exams. Being able to learn through experiences is a liberating and rewarding way to appreciate what you learn while in school," shares Omolara Animashaun about her journey in Nicaragua.

Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Inc. and Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. co-sponsored the first annual EXPoseURE Fashion Show in late February. Students for Environmental Awareness at Rutgers University strive to make students aware of environmental issues going on around us. They attended the rally against the Keystone Pipeline in D.C, went to the Environmental Film Festival during spring break, volunteered to restore a beach, and are working on a campaign to have Rutgers divest from fossil fuels. The Association of Mediterranean Organizations (A.M.O.R) at Rutgers University hosted Mr. and Mrs. Mediterranean this year to raise awareness and funds for the children in Syria.

Morgan Stephenson is in his fourth year of working toward a BFA in Visual Art at Mason Gross School of the Arts. He concentrates his studies in painting, but also dedicates time to drawing.

The 10th anniversary of the Big Chill 5k was held on December 8th 2012. About 8,000 people took part in this year’s race. Thanks to the participants, 9,500 toys were collected for donation. See photos from the awesome event here!
